Swaroop (Forms of the God)

Here we will find different forms of the God.

What happens to those who worship the imperishable and unmanifested?

Arjun asks Lord Krishna:
Those who are continuously devoted thus (this form) and those who worship the imperishable and unmanifested form, which of the unions is celebrated?

Lord Krishna says to Arjun:
But those who worship the imperishable, inexplicable, unmanifested, inconceivable and all-pervading, they are fixated at the center or top of the sky.

Worshipping the unmanifested is more difficult for the embodied.

Lord Krishna says to Arjun:
Of them who have attached their minds to the unmanifested there is more trouble. Indeed, the embodied obtain the unmanifested destination (only) with suffering.

You can't see my universal form with your naked eyes. I will give you divine eyes or vision.

Lord Krishna says to Arjun:
But you cannot see me by your own powerless eyes. I give you divine eyes to behold my power of union.

I am elated but also terrified on seeing your universal form. Please just show me your divine form.

Arjun says to Lord Krishna:
I am cheerful or elated having seen what I had never seen before. I am also terrified or purturbed in my mind with fear. Just show me that godly form. Be gracious, O lord of the lords, abode of the universe.

I want to see you four-armed (with conchshell, disc, mace and lotus) form

Arjun says to Lord Krishna:
wish to see you like such with crown, mace and the disc in the hands. From the thousands-armed universal form, please come to the four-armed form.

Having seen you now in the peaceful human form, I now have returned to my natural senses.

Arjun says to Lord Krishna:
Having seen this gentle human form of your, O Janaardan (Krishna), I now have become settled in my natural consciousness.
