एतान् न हन्तुम् इच्छामि घ्नत: अपि मधुसूदन
अपि त्रैलोक्य राजस्य हेतो: किम् नु मही-कृते
एतान्न हन्तुमिच्छामि घ्नतोऽपि मधुसूदन ।
अपि त्रैलोक्यराजस्य हेतो: किं नु महीकृते ॥१:३५॥
etaanna hantumichchhami gnhato'pi madhusoodana
api trailokyaraajasya hetoh kim nu maheekrite ||1:35||
etaan na hantum ichchhaami ghnatah api madhusoodana
api trailokya raajasya hetoh kim nu mahee-krite
Purport I do not want to strike and kill all these, O Krishna, even for the kingdoms of the three worlds, let alone for the sake of earth.
